Biographical
ARBITRATION/MEDIATION/FACT FINDING/LABOR RELATIONS EXPERIENCE:
Attorney, Arbitrator, Mediator. In addition to traditional labor arbitration, experienced in Fact-Finding, Conciliation, Interest Arbitration, and all forms of Mediation. 1984-Present: Attorney specializing in labor and employment law. Certified as a Labor and Employment Law Specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association. 1999-Present: Arbitrator, Mediator. Arbitrate and mediate labor and employment grievances for the FMCS, AAA, Arbitration and Mediation Service, and other organizations. On various permanent labor arbitration panels, including AK Steel and International Association of Machinists Lodge 1943, AT&T and Communications Workers of America, Cincinnati Bell and Communications Workers of America, First Energy and Utility Workers Union of America Local 270, Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority and Amalgamated Transit Union Local 268, and State of Ohio and Ohio Civil Service Employees Association. 2001-Present: Fact Finder and Conciliator on the panel of Ohio SERB. 2011- Present: Part-time Hearing Officer for Cuyahoga County, Ohio, hearing appeals of classified civil service employees. 1992-1999: Served as Associate Counsel to KeyBank, a national financial institution, representing it and its affiliates in labor and employment matters. 1988-1992: Served as Labor Counsel to Leaseway Transportation Corp., a national trucking and transportation company, representing it and its affiliates in labor and employment matters. In this position, I represented the company in labor arbitrations, NLRB matters, and collective bargaining, and handled day-to-day labor and employment issues. 1984-1988: Associate with Sanford Gross Co., L.P.A., a law firm representing labor and management in labor and employment matters. In this position, I represented clients in labor arbitrations, NLRB matters, and collective bargaining, and advised them on other labor and employment issues.

Rates Information
$1900 per diem for grievance and interest arbitration. Per diem charged for each hearing day cancelled within 30 days of the hearing date(s). $450 per hour for employment arbitration. $3000 per day charged for each hearing day cancelled within 30 days of the hearing date(s).
